What to write

I guess I'm writing but I don't know what to write about.
Does any body have any idea of what to write about?I should be
writing about some thing more interesting, but I don't know what
to write about!

funny funny

Isa is learning to sing happy birthday in Spanish in her class. The other day I suppressed my giggles when instead of CUmpleaños Feliz, she belted out, "Cloompy-años Feliz! Cloompy-años Feliz!!"

Eden has learned how to razz and spit our her binky and shoot it clear across the room. When she's done, you know b/c the binky goes flying!

Abigail is learning to roll her r's at her pre-school. So she walks around the house playing, and doing her thing all the while going, "rrrrrr, rrrrrr, rrrrrr, rrrrrr."

They certainly keep us smiling!

Kings' Day

Yesterday was Kings' Day here in Spain. The three kings brought the girls candy for their stockings which they opened before breakfast. I gave Isa a piece of gum and then asked her a few minutes later to show it to me. Since she swallowed it I told her she couldn't have any more for a while. I was surprised that she swallowed it since she's been chewing gum without problem for a while now. A few minutes later she asked for another piece, and I explained why she couldn't have another. She replied quite emphatically, "But, I'm still hungry!" I guess that's why she swallowed it this time.

Eden at two months - what a sweet baby!! Posted by Picasa

smiley - she's started smiling and cooing at all of us. Isa's favorite game is to sit next to Eden and just giggle trying to make her smile - it always works on me! Posted by Picasa

Isa started school

Yesterday was Isa's first day of school . . . ever. She cried. I stayed out in the hallway quite stressed for my little one while I periodically sent another mom to peek through the glass and update me on her adjustment. I didn't dare look myself knowing that if she saw me that she would immediately start crying even harder. After about 15-20 minutes she calmed down and started playing. Later when I returned to pick her up she ran to me and was so excited about her first day. She also loves the fact that her teacher is named Isabel just like her.

Later that morning, we were at the café and we had one of those moments when I was thrilled that 90% of the people in Terra Nova do NOT speak or understand English. I had taken her and Abigail into the bathroom and after Isa went potty she looked down and said, "Look Mom! My vagina! I have a crack in my body!" Now let me remind you that she's two-and-a-half and we're still working on the whole "inside voice" thing so she was bellowing this out. I tried to end the moment by not making a big deal about it, hoping she would quickly forget and move on to something else. I said much more quietly than she had, "Yes, Isa. You're a girl and that's how God made girls." Unfortunately, this didn't work. We left the bathroom and for about the next 15 minutes or so Isa went on and on and on about the "crack in her body." Finally, to my immense relief we got her distracted and were able to change the subject to something much more benign.
